The evening began with a minute of silence for Sven-Göran "Svennis" Eriksson at Malmö IP, before the top match between league leaders Rosengård and second-placed Häcken kicked off.
There were chances at both ends during the first 45 minutes, including a fine opportunity for Monica Jusu Bah, which forced Rosengård goalkeeper Eartha Cumings to stretch out, but the score was still 0-0 at halftime.
Anna Anvegård was not satisfied with her Häcken despite the level score at halftime.
"Completely sloppy"
We're not getting our press at all, and they're playing quite easily through us. When we do win the ball, we're completely sloppy, we could punish them much more than we have, she said to Viaplay during the break.
In the second half, it was the home team that came out strongest. Emilia Larsson had two chances to give Rosengård the lead, but without success.
In the end, the 1-0 goal came, through Gudrun Arnardottir, who was able to nod the ball in during a second wave after a Rosengård corner.
Pull away at the top
It would prove to be enough for the win for the league leaders, who thus make a small pull away in the gold struggle. They now have a nine-point margin down to Häcken and Hammarby, who are chasing behind.

Before Monday's matches, Hammarby were in third place in the table, but the Stockholm team passes Häcken in the table – both teams have 39 points, but "Bajen's" goal difference is better – after a big 8-0 win over bottom-placed Trelleborg.
