The South Korean shooter Kim Ye-Ji took the internet by storm during the Olympic Games in Paris with her casual style, shooting glasses, and backwards cap.
"She should get a role in an action film. No acting lessons needed", wrote entrepreneur and X-owner Elon Musk, for example.
Now, Kim Ye-Ji – Olympic silver medalist on 10 meter air pistol – has landed her first role. The 32-year-old South Korean will fittingly play an assassin in the series "Crush", which is a spinoff to a global film project called "Asia", reports news agency AFP.
Besides the fact that numerous viral clips and memes of Kim Ye-Ji spread on social media during and after the Paris Olympic Games, style magazine GQ named the South Korean the Olympic Games' style icon.
