Russia claims to have retaken two villages in the Russian Kursk, where Ukraine launched a surprise offensive in August.
According to the Defense Ministry in Moscow, it concerns Uspenovka and Borki. The information comes at the same time as Russia is said to be launching a counteroffensive in the area.
