An apartment was shot at in the residential area of Markbacken in Örebro during the night leading up to Sunday. No perpetrator has been arrested, but an investigation is underway with full force and the area remains cordoned off.
The alarm came in at 00.32 about loud bangs in Markbacken in Örebro.
A shooting has taken place against an apartment in the residential area and it is now cordoned off, said Caroline Karlsson, press spokesperson for the Bergslagen police region during the night.
The police have no reports of injuries. It is also unknown if anyone was in the apartment during the shooting. The area remains cordoned off and the police will initiate a technical investigation in the morning.
An investigation into attempted murder and serious weapons offenses has been launched.
