Several people have been injured in connection with a shooting in Germany, reports the German radio channel WDR.
The shooting is said to have occurred in the city of Hagen, south of Dortmund. A larger police operation is underway and parts of the city have been cordoned off. Residents are advised to stay away from the area.
The circumstances are still unclear. According to WDR, several shots were fired at two different locations, one of which was a hair salon. Local police on X state that the initial findings suggest that the shooting may be "family-related".
