Several shots have been fired at a business premises in central Uppsala. There are no reports of injuries.
The police received several alarms about the shooting early on Monday evening.
Given that it's such a central location in Uppsala, there were a lot of people around, says police spokesperson Tobias Ahlén-Svalbro to TT.
According to Upsala Nya Tidning, it's a hair salon that has been shot at. The police do not want to confirm the information.
The crime scene was cordoned off for a technical investigation and several witnesses have been questioned.
We're also checking if there are cameras in the area, says Tobias Ahlén-Svalbro.
He doesn't want to say if anyone has been detained.
