Oasis tickets sold out

The interest was enormous when the tickets to Oasis' performances next summer were released on Saturday morning. Around eight o'clock in the evening, the band announced on X that all 17 concerts had sold out.

Frustration was great among fans when several ticket sites experienced technical problems and crashed during the day. This includes, among other things, two resellers who sold tickets to the concerts in Ireland and Scotland, respectively, writes The Guardian.

A representative for the band has, however, hinted that an international tour may be announced soon, writes AP.

The pressure from fans led to prices already in the morning reaching astronomical sums on sites selling second-hand tickets, with prices of up to 6,300 pounds, equivalent to 85,000 Swedish kronor, according to The Guardian.

But Oasis and the organizers have urged fans not to buy tickets from unauthorized sellers.

"Tickets on the secondary market are either fake or will be stopped by the organizers", writes Oasis on its official X-account.

The 90s icons Oasis are making a comeback next summer since brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher made peace with each other. It's been 15 years since the band last toured.

Oasis plans 17 performances in the UK and Ireland, with the premiere on July 4 in Cardiff.
