In September, unemployment stood at 8.2 percent, corresponding to 468,000 unemployed, according to statistics from SCB. Seasonally adjusted, unemployment was at 8.5 percent.
"It is a continued restrained situation on the labor market in September, without any major changes. The seasonally adjusted and smoothed unemployment rate increased slightly," says Eyvind Löfgren, statistician at the Labor Force Surveys at SCB, in a comment.
