The Stockholm stock exchange fell in the opening on Friday but has since turned upwards. Shortly after 13, the broad index is up by 0.3 per cent.
Reporting truck manufacturer Volvo missed its targets for the third quarter. Despite this, the stock is trading at a plus of 1.8 per cent. Getinge also released a report and is down by 6.8 per cent.
ABB is also weighing down the OMXS30 index and is down by 1.9 per cent. SKF is doing the best among the most traded companies, at a plus of 3.1 per cent.
In Asia, the major stock exchanges closed at a plus. Early this morning, new GDP figures from China were released, showing a growth of 4.6 per cent, which was slightly higher than expected.
Wall Street is rising slightly in pre-trading.
The gold price has reached new record levels and is trading for the first time at over 2,700 dollars per ounce (31 grams).
