A student in Värnamo municipality is suspected of preparation for murder and serious weapons offenses after the student themselves told adults about previous plans to shoot classmates and staff, reports P4 Jönköping.
Interrogations are being conducted with several different people to clarify the threats, according to the prosecutor. The content of the student's mobile phone is also being analyzed.
After the student told about the plans, they were arrested and a search of their home was conducted in order to find a weapon, but without result.
The student is no longer in custody.
