The police are investigating a crime after a man in his 30s was seriously injured in a workplace accident south of Uddevalla on Saturday, reports P4 Väst.
After being investigated as a workplace accident, the crime classification has now been changed to assault and battery.
The man is said to have fallen from some kind of device in connection with work near a railway track and got a heavy object on top of him.
The condition of the injured person is described as serious but stable.
