There will be twelve medals for Sweden at the OS in Paris. At least if you believe the medal prognosis presented by the sports statistics company Gracenote.
That's three more than at the OS in Tokyo last time. It's also more than the ten medals that the Swedish Olympic Committee set as a goal before the Olympic Games in Paris.
According to the prognosis, Sweden will take four gold, four silver, and four bronze medals.
The top of the medal table looks as usual, with the USA expected to win with a total of 111 medals.
Notably, the host country France is expected to take almost twice as many OS medals as in Tokyo, when they got 33. The statistics company predicts a total of 59 French medals, including 27 gold medals, in Paris.
