A typical Friday when Margreth Persson was going to lay flowers on her husband's grave at Mjällby cemetery, the ground gave way beneath her and she sank into the grave, reports SVT Blekinge.
Before I could react and get away, I sank again. I got a shock, she says to SVT and continues:
It was probably up to my knees and therefore I couldn't, there was nothing to hold onto.
Luckily, she managed to get one knee on solid ground and pull herself out of the hole after a while.
Now Margreth is worried about visiting the cemetery alone during times when there are few people around.
I don't quite trust this grave site anymore.
