A man in his 50s has been taken to hospital after the police were alerted to a park by the castle in Örebro on Saturday afternoon.
When we arrive at the scene, we find a man with stab wounds. He is taken to hospital by ambulance, says Ola OIsson, duty officer at the police.
A preliminary investigation into attempted murder has been initiated. The police were informed of the incident at 14.30.
Right now, we have quite large cordons in place. We are working on documenting the crime scene, says Olsson.
We have a dog there to see if we can find what caused the stab wound, and have taken several people in for questioning to get as clear a picture as possible.
The police have no identified suspect.
