Listening drought during the summer vacation? Here, some of the country's cultural and entertainment profiles give their best tips on podcasts, radio programs, and audiobooks to listen to this summer.

+ Ellen Krauss, artist:

"The Honey Trap" – book/audiobook by Lars Berge and Axel Gordh Humlesjö.

It's a non-fiction book about money laundering that's very exciting. It's a bit juicy to hear about billionaires who do wrong.

+ Mikael Yvesand, author:

"Music Görnings Podcaster" – podcast by Armann and Färska Prinzen.

It's a kind of humor podcast where they're going to make a song in each episode based on listeners' wishes. It's very funny.

+ Parisa Amiri, freelance journalist and host of the podcast "Helvetet med Walden och Parisa".

"Wiser than me" – podcast with Julia Louis-Dreyfus.

She's my biggest role model in life. Here, she highlights the older woman who is 70 plus. Some of my biggest idols, like Gloria Steinem, Fran Leibowitz, and Isabel Allende, get to talk about what they've learned from life. They come from a generation that had it much harder with male-dominated industries, it's nice to listen to when you yourself want to give up.

"What's happening?" – podcast with Amat Levin and Jonathan Rollins.

A wonderful duo with incredible charm and sharpness. Their dynamic as best friends gives so much. They can take up everything from culture wars, contemporary politics to more social conflicts and problems in people's lives.

+ Parisa Liljestrand (M), Minister of Culture:

"P3 Documentary" – radio program on Sveriges Radio.

They've made many great episodes over time, one is about the disco fire in Gothenburg. The episode itself is old, but it was one of the first episodes I listened to. They tell about events and human destinies in a very lively way that I appreciate.

"Damn guys" – book/audiobook by Andrev Walden.

I just finished reading it, and I recommend it to everyone. I think it's absolutely fantastic.

+ Nanna Olasdotter Hallberg, journalist and host:

"To bed" – podcast with Malena Ivarsson and Samanda Ekman.

It's good summer listening. Many have relationships that might be a bit worn out in the summer, and then it's perfect to listen to.

"Crime history" – podcast with Mohamed El Abed and Emmy Atterving.

It's for the history enthusiast. It's also about crime, so you get an exciting entry into history.

"Summer in P1" with Trolle Rhodin – radio program on Sveriges Radio.

It just had Bergman week with a circus theme, so if you're craving more culture about the circus, it's a really fun summer chat.

Tarik Saleh, director:

"The plot thickens" – podcast with Ben Mankiewicz.

It's about the American film director John Ford.

Mikael Yvesand:

"Mystery show" – podcast with Starlet Kine.

In the podcast, Starlet Kine solves everyday mysteries that listeners have sent in. It was named the best new podcast of 2015 by Itunes.

Nanna Olasdotter Hallberg:

"Open city" – book/audiobook by Teju Cole.

It's about the doctoral student Julius, who lives in New York after September 11, 2001.

Ellen Krauss:

"Filip & Fredrik podcast" – podcast with Filip Hammar and Fredrik Wikingsson.

"Alex and Sigge's podcast" – podcast with Alex Schulman and Sigge Eklund.
