The remains of an Israeli man, said to have been killed by Hamas, which is designated as a terrorist organization, in its attack on Israel on October 7, have been found, according to Israeli media, citing the military.
Authorities initially believed that the 35-year-old man had been taken hostage during the attack. However, when previously unidentified remains found in the Kibbutz Nir Oz were analyzed, they were found to belong to the man.
During Hamas-coordinated attacks on Israel on October 7, around 1,200 people were killed and over 200 were taken hostage. The attack triggered the ongoing war in Gaza.
