British police have arrested the murder suspect who was hunted north of London for over a day.
The man, reportedly a 26-year-old former soldier, was arrested at a cemetery in Enfield after a large-scale operation.
On Wednesday, the police released the man's name and image, suspecting that he was carrying a crossbow and posed a significant risk to the public. The police also appealed to the man to surrender.
He is believed to be the one who killed three women in a house in Bushey, northwest of London, on Tuesday evening.
The three women, a woman and her two adult daughters, were found seriously injured by crossbow "and other weapons", but their lives could not be saved.
According to Sky News and BBC, the police believe they have found a link between the man and the women, but no motive has been disclosed.
At present, we are not seeking anyone else in connection with the investigation, says investigator Justine Jenkins at a press conference.
The 26-year-old was treated for injuries at the scene where he was arrested, but the police report that no firearms were used during the arrest.
