Kif Örebro stood on zero wins and three scored goals after eight rounds.

This year's first win, 4–1 at home against BP, was extremely long-awaited.

When the three-pointer finally came, it was really a bottleneck for Kif Örebro. It wasn't just a win against Brommapojkarna on National Day, but the newcomers also made more goals forward than they had done throughout the entire Swedish women's season.

After a balanced start, Molly Johansson broke the zero in the 34th minute. The new signing from Häcken, in an unusual position for her, broke in from the left and curled in 1–0 in the far corner.

A midfield combination on a corner gave 2–0 a few minutes later, when Ashley Michelle Barron headed the ball to Sanna Ojanen, who kicked in the goal.

Nora Harnes Håheim easily rolled in 3–0 shortly after halftime, nicely played forward by Molly Johansson, and Inka Sarjanoja then sealed the match in the 65th minute. The Finn stood out for the match's pearl when she drilled the ball into the far corner.

Ellinor Johansson sent in a consolation goal for BP in overtime.
