Turning point for Norrköping - point against BP

The losing trend has come to an end.

But not with a win.

Right now, it feels like we've dropped two points, says IFK Norrköping's Wilma Leidhammar after the goalless meeting with Brommapojkarna.

After 0–1 against Piteå and 0–4 against Rosengård, IFK Norrköping were on the hunt for a trend break in the women's top division.

Most of all with a home win against Brommapojkarna.

In terms of play, it also looked like it could go that way.

But in the end, the home team had to settle for a goalless match.

It feels like we're dropping two points rather than taking one, says Wilma Leidhammar to Viaplay.

Norrköping had a significant advantage in terms of play, the most chances – including Leidhammar's header at the end of the match – but lacked sharpness in their finishes.

It's a bit like the whole match, a bit post out, says the striker about her chance at the end.

I think we have good defensive play, they don't get into dangerous positions, we keep them out and work tightly. Then we have pace in our attacking play and get into positions.

What was missing was, as said, the goals.

It's just a matter of grinding. Hopefully, it'll be post in soon.

For Brommapojkarna, the shared point was also a step forward after the heavy home defeat against Rosengård, 0–7, just over a week ago.

But only a small step, as the club has two points from the last five matches.

We're not reaching the level, I don't think we've done it in the last few matches, but we're keeping a clean sheet, and that's a step forward, says Frida Thörnqvist.

Brommapojkarna are 13th in the table with 13 points, three ahead of AIK in the relegation spot. IFK Norrköping, with one game less played, are sixth on 17 points.

Rosengård top the table convincingly on 36 points ahead of second-placed Häcken, 29, and third-placed Hammarby, 27.
