Two men have been arrested on suspicion of rape and attempted rape against two girls in Tanum municipality on Midsummer's Eve. The crimes are said to have taken place outdoors, according to the police.
There are two girls who are plaintiffs, says the police's press spokesperson August Brandt.
The two men, who are in their 20s and 30s, were arrested during the night and are both suspected on probable grounds, the higher degree of suspicion.
One is suspected of rape and the other of rape and attempted rape, says Robin Simonsson at the Prosecutor's Office press service.
The suspects are to be questioned over the weekend, says Simonsson, who cannot provide more information in the case.
