Ukraine's military intelligence service HUR is said to have hacked over a hundred Russian websites that support Russia's invasion of the country. This is reported by the news site Kyiv Independent, citing the intelligence agency's statement on social media.
According to the statement, the intelligence service, with the help of "volunteer hackers", took down several Russian sites and replaced them with an image of a bloody pig's head and the text "Russia not found."
The cyberattack was targeted at companies that collaborate with Russian authorities, it was stated in a post on the Telegram app.
Among the affected companies were construction companies, IT firms, and a car dealer. The attack took place on Monday. By Tuesday afternoon, several of the sites had been restored.
