30 seconds – then Ellen Wangerheim struck.

A goal that gave Hammarby a trend break in the women's top division.

It was extremely important to get that start, says Vilde Hasund after 2–0 against Vittsjö.

Tough and difficult last year. This season, there is a different sheen over Rosengård.

Ten consecutive wins have given them a superior lead in the table – and chasing Häcken and Hammarby are now focusing on securing places behind and ensuring Champions League qualification.

Hammarby took the chance – and broke a streak of three consecutive losses.

And it was thanks to two-goal scorer Ellen Wangerheim away against Vittsjö, 2–0.

Quick goal

Already after 30 seconds, the 19-year-old sent the ball in via the crossbar behind goalkeeper Elin Vaughan, and in the 85th minute, she secured the win in the rain at Vittsjö IP.

We've talked a lot about driving the ball when we're in the right position. She was in a good position, it was nice to get a goal there, says Vilde Hasund, who was behind Hammarby's first goal, to Viaplay.

We want to be at the top, but our focus is one match at a time.

Häcken also made sure to secure three points in the home match against Djurgården, 4–1.

Two-goal scorer Anna Sandberg, Rosa Kafaji, and Matilda Nildén scored the goals on Hisingen.

Tough for Piteå

Piteå, who won a historic cup title in the spring, continues to struggle in the women's top division.

Away against Linköping came another loss.

The home team started with a goal by Michelle De Jongh in the fifth minute and then had 3–0 after 23 minutes, following goals by Cathinka Friis Tandberg and Cornelia Kapocs. Kapocs then became a two-goal scorer in the 4–2 win.

The loss means that Piteå is eleventh in the table, two points ahead of AIK on the relegation spot.

Rosengård tops the table with 30 points ahead of Häcken, 23, and Hammarby, 21.
