According to the prosecutor, the 16-year-old boy arrived in Denmark together with a 26-year-old Swede on August 11. They allegedly checked into a hotel and then received several murder assignments at different locations in the city, according to the prosecutor. However, all of them failed.

The boy, who was recently extradited from Sweden to Denmark, has according to the police attempted to fire a pistol at one or more people and possessed two pistols and two hand grenades.

He is suspected of attempted murder, weapons possession, and attempted bombing.

Denies the crime

After the 26-year-old was arrested, the 16-year-old returned to Sweden, where he was arrested a few days later.

On Wednesday, the boy was detained for four weeks, writes Denmark's Radio. His defense attorney says that his client denies all criminal charges and does not want to comment.

In addition to the two Swedes, two Danish citizens are also suspected of involvement, a 41-year-old and a 25-year-old.

Unknown client

On Wednesday night, another Swedish teenager was arrested in Copenhagen. He was also detained on Wednesday. When the 18-year-old was arrested in the Nørrebro district, he had a pistol on him.

The police and prosecutor suspect that he was in Denmark to murder one or more members of criminal gangs. Which gang it concerns was not disclosed during the detention hearing.

He allegedly was sent by an unidentified client and was equipped with weapons, magazines, and ammunition. He denies attempted murder and admits to weapons possession, but was detained as suspected of both crimes.
