The American airbase Ain al-Asad in western Iraq has been attacked by drones, according to security sources who have spoken to the news agency AFP.
According to a police source, it is about two drones, one of which was shot down outside the base and the other exploded on the base, but without causing any damage.
Since the war in Gaza broke out in October, similar attacks have occurred on several occasions.
