At least 15 lives are reported to have been claimed in an Israeli attack on a school building in Jabalia in the Gaza Strip.
The information varies greatly regarding who was in the building. Israel claims that the site was converted into a command center for militias, and lists over ten names of known extremists who were killed.
The Hamas-backed Palestinian authorities, on the other hand, report according to regional media that refugees had gathered in the premises, and that at least five children are among the dead.
