The suspected dangerous object in Växjö is considered sharp, according to the police.
The National Bomb Squad has been on site and the police are now filing a report on a serious crime against the law on flammable and explosive goods.
A private individual raised the alarm at around 18:00 on Sunday and an area was cordoned off. The object was lying on a road and there are no residential buildings in the vicinity.
