C Gambino's producer and friend Oscar Chase writes about the grief after the murdered rapper. In a post on Instagram, he says that the sorrow and longing cannot be expressed in words.
"Saying goodbye to someone who was so close to me hurts, hurts a lot, but the joy and laughter we who knew you will always remember. Our thoughts about you will live on and your melodies will forever echo across the country", writes Chase.
C Gambino was shot to death in a car park in Gothenburg two weeks ago.
The Gothenburg rapper released his debut album in 2022. He performed anonymously, with a face mask. In May, he received the award for Hip-Hop of the Year at the Grammis Awards and his latest single "Sista gång" was released on 31 May this year.
