Four youths have been injured after a car went off the road between Norsjö and Malå in Västerbotten County. The car is said to have rolled over at 04:30 on Sunday morning on road 370.
The police report that the four injured youths have been taken to different hospitals in Västerbotten, according to VK.
This is a very serious traffic accident and all of them are being treated for serious injuries, says Mats Bruhn, on-duty investigation leader at the police in Umeå, to VK.
All four are under 18 years old, according to the police.
The police have initiated an investigation into gross drunk driving, gross negligence in traffic, unauthorized driving, and gross bodily harm, according to the newspaper.
The scene will be documented and the car has been seized for technical examination.
Earlier, the police's RLC commander told VK that only one of the four had serious injuries.
