A child has been run over by a car in Torshälla outside Eskilstuna.
The child, who is under ten years old, was taken to hospital by ambulance. The extent of the injuries is unclear, according to the police.
The accident is being investigated as assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
The alarm about the accident came in at around 15:30 on Friday.
