Until then, "Gotte" will continue to play for his current club, Flensburg-Handewitt in Germany. His current contract expires next summer and after a period of speculation, it's now clear about his future destination.
Gottfridsson has been part of Flensburg-Handewitt since 2013 when he left his hometown Ystad to play abroad.
From the 2024-2025 season, there will be Swedish presence on the coaching bench in Pick Szeged: Michael Apelgren as head coach and Jonas Källman as assistant.
