Both teams have all players available when the Netherlands and England face each other in the European Championship's second semifinal, which is refereed by a controversial referee.

What: Netherlands–England, semifinal.

When: Wednesday, July 10, 21.00.

Where: Signal Iduna Park, Dortmund.

TV/Radio: SVT1, SVT Play, P4 Radiosporten.

+ Shaw ready for 90

England's only left-back in the squad, Luke Shaw, missed England's four first matches due to injury. National team coach Gareth Southgate has therefore had to move around in the defense to compensate for the lack of a left-back.

In the quarterfinal against Switzerland, which went to extra time and penalties, the Manchester United player was substituted in after 78 minutes of play.

Ahead of the important semifinal against the Netherlands, Shaw announces that he feels ready for 90 minutes.

It's Gareth's (Southgate) decision, I feel in shape and ready to go.

+ Controversial referee

The referee in the match between the Netherlands and England is Felix Zwayer, who was convicted of match-fixing in 2005.

The German referee also has a history with England's star midfielder Jude Bellingham. In the winter of 2021, Bellingham was fined over 450,000 kronor for criticizing Zwayer after a match between Borussia Dortmund and Bayern München.

Luke Shaw says that the referee choice does not affect England.

We have to respect Uefa in their choice of referee, no matter who they choose. It won't change anything for us. We're just focusing on the match, not so much on who the referee is.
