A pharmacy employee in Blekinge has had their authorization revoked after being exposed for creating counterfeit prescriptions, where various doctors were claimed to be prescribers.
By manipulating genuine prescriptions, the pharmacy employee also obtained larger doses than what doctors had prescribed and then kept the difference for themselves, reports SVT News Blekinge.
The actions have been reported to the police and the pharmacist has been forced to leave their pharmacy position. The authorization was revoked at their own request following a decision by the Health and Medical Care Liability Board.
