The VMA, important message to the public, which the rescue service issued in Alvesta municipality has now been lifted, reports P4 Kronoberg.
The warning applied to the urban area of Vislanda after a fire in a waste disposal facility outside Gottåsa. Everyone in the area was urged to go indoors and close doors, windows, and ventilation due to toxic smoke from the site.
The rescue service left the site shortly before 3 am.
