Stina Källberg went directly from the loss match in the mixed quarterfinals to her singles match in the European Championship in Linz with only a quarter of an hour's pause in between.
Afterwards, she was very critical of the tight schedule.
This schedule is just not true. I almost went into this match and cried, says Källberg to SVT after the singles, which Källberg won.
The competition leader Alen Ivancin says to SVT that the reason for the tight schedule is that the championship is decided in six days and not eight days as last time in Munich, and that he chose the youngest to play two matches in a row.
Källberg did not only play two matches close together on Thursday. She played a total of four matches in five hours (two in mixed, one in doubles, and one in singles).
It's crap and there was hardly time for lunch, she says to Radiosporten.
I'm completely exhausted.
