A leader within the organized criminality in Stockholm was arrested by Greek police on Thursday.
The man, who is in his 25-year-old age, is suspected of incitement to attempted murder, incitement to robbery, incitement to serious assault, and serious weapons offense in Sweden.
The man was remanded in custody on Friday at Södertörn District Court. The crimes are suspected to have been committed during the autumn of 2021, at the end of 2023, and at the beginning of 2024.
It is unclear when the man can be brought to Sweden.
Prosecutor Mats Ihlbom chooses not to provide further information about the investigation, citing investigation secrecy. It is unclear where in Greece the man was arrested.
