Right in the middle of the math test, my phone started ringing and beeping.
Then, super talent Felicia Schröder received the message: "You're selected for the A national team".
In the beginning, I was probably a bit shocked, says the 17-year-old.
It was the last test of the semester that was to be cleared, but it was hard for Felicia Schröder to solve the problems when her phone suddenly started making itself known.
The Häcken forward got to check what it was about and then the 17-year-old found out that national team captain Peter Gerhardsson had selected her for the women's national team's European Championship qualifying matches against France and England.
"Hard to focus"
It was a bit hard to focus during the rest of the math test, says Schröder.
How did the test go?
It went well. I passed.
Schröder made an impact already last year when she scored three goals in 15 Damallsvenskan appearances and two important goals when Häcken qualified for the Champions League group stage.
This year, the success has only continued. The forward, who turned 17 in April, is third in the Damallsvenskan scoring league with eight goals and she also scored two goals in a national team match against Poland with the U23 national team in early June.
Now she has done her first three trainings in her life with the national team and the first meeting with national team captain Gerhardsson has been held.
It was good. A nice guy, she says and laughs.

What I'm supposed to play as, where they see me on the pitch and what opportunities there are.

How do you see the opportunities?
It's not up to me if I get to play or not, but I do my best at the trainings so I'll take it from there, says Schröder.
How would it be to get to play your first minutes with the A national team?
It has been a dream to make my debut and just getting to be in the squad has been a dream too. That would be fun.
Sweden meets France away on Friday and England at Gamla Ullevi in Gothenburg on Tuesday.
