A person from the Lebanese Islamist movement Hezbollah has been killed in an Israeli drone attack in southern Lebanon, reports state media in the country.
Hezbollah has issued a statement identifying the member as Muhammad Ayoub.
Israel's military describes him as a prominent figure from a rocket unit within Hezbollah, and says that he was involved in planning attacks from southern Lebanon against Israel, among other things.
Israel and Iran-backed Hezbollah have been shelling each other almost daily since the Gaza War began following Hamas's attack on Israel in October.
