One of Hezbollah's targets in Tel Aviv has been attacked for the second time in a short period.
Air raid sirens are sounding in Tel Aviv and in areas in central and northern Israel, reports the newspaper Haaretz. No casualties have been reported and a large number of rockets have been shot down, according to information from the military.
This morning's attacks come after Israel has stepped up its attacks further. According to Israel, over 230 "terror targets" have been attacked in Lebanon and Gaza in the past 24 hours.
One of these is said to be Hezbollah's air division headquarters, deep inside Lebanese territory. Israel's military also claims that 15 Hezbollah members were killed in an attack on a command center in southern Lebanon.
On Monday evening, Beirut was attacked again, after hundreds of residents in the densely populated capital were warned with evacuation orders.
Four people, including a child, were killed when Israel launched an attack near one of Beirut's largest public hospitals, according to Lebanon's health department.
Israel claimed in the evening that Hezbollah is hiding money and other assets under another hospital in southern Lebanon, without presenting further evidence. The hospital was subsequently evacuated, but the hospital chief has denied the allegations.
Since Israel escalated its attacks in Lebanon almost a month ago, at least 1,489 people have been killed there, according to AFP's compilation of figures from the Lebanese health department.
