229 names and phone numbers on a Swish list have been exposed in the preliminary investigation of a pimping ring in Gothenburg, reports P4 Gothenburg.
The payments, totaling over half a million kronor, have gone to a 60-year-old man who is now being investigated on suspicion of gross pimping.
The man is alleged to have arranged home delivery of prostitutes who sold sex through an escort site, writes P4.
None of the individuals on the list are suspected of committing a crime in this case.
In this case, we made the assessment that we did not classify this as confidential, says Peter Ljungdahl, commissioner at the section for international serious organized crime in Region West to the channel.
