Karin Smirnoff's novel "I went down to brother" will become a TV series on SVT. Sanna Lenken, who is behind "Thin Blue Line" and "Pain Point", is directing, and Karin Arrhenius has written the script.
"It will be an exciting challenge to portray Karin Smirnoff's original and fantastic novel. I will do everything I can to take care of the story and make it as captivating as the novel", says Lenken in a press release.
The recordings will start in February, and the series is planned to premiere on SVT and on SVT Play during late autumn 2025.
