The Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson has been invited to Austria to talk about the Swedish migration policy.
Reducing immigration to Sweden is one of the Tidö government's main priorities and the overhaul of the migration policy has also received international attention.
Now, Austria's Federal Chancellor Karl Nehammer, from the conservative party ÖVP, has written and invited Kristersson to Vienna to discuss the policy he describes as "inspiring", reports SvD.
Nehammer writes that the two leaders share the desire to think "outside the box" to address the problems.
Kristersson has accepted the invitation and will visit Austria next Wednesday together with the new Minister for Migration Johan Forssell (M).
