A 42-year-old man is being prosecuted for multiple cases of child sexual abuse, according to a press release from the Prosecution Authority. He is being prosecuted for among other things, rape of a child, multiple cases of gross exploitation of a child for sexual posing, several cases of gross sexual harassment of a child, illegal threats, and child pornography offenses.
The crimes for which the man is being prosecuted took place in 2022-2023 when the eleven girls who are plaintiffs were between 12 and 15 years old.
The crimes were committed via Snapchat and were discovered when a guardian of one of the girls made a report that led to the identification of a suspect.
The man has been in custody since January this year.
