An elderly man died on Saturday evening after crashing into a lamppost in Falköping municipality.
Rescue personnel were alerted to the accident site at 23.21 on Saturday evening after the man's car, for unknown reasons, drove into the post, reports Skaraborgs County Newspaper.
We do not know what he died of. We have seized the car to try to get clarity on what happened. But no crime is suspected, says Eric Carlsson, station commander at Skövde Police, to the newspaper.
The man's relatives have been informed, according to the police.
