Musician and guitarist Gert-Ove Prikken Smedlund, known from Mora Träsk, has passed away at the age of 68, reports Gefle Dagblad.
He was born in Medelpad, but moved to Gävle in 1962 and lived there for the rest of his life. He joined the progg- and rock band Mora Träsk in the late 1970s. The group disbanded as a rock band in 1981, but some of the members continued to play, focusing on children's audiences, and achieved success with "Tigerjakt", among other things.
Gert-Ove Prikken Smedlund was with Mora Träsk until 1999.
