Mattias Berglund, who worked with the World Cup skiers last season, Kent Norell, previously in the national biathlon team, Felix Erlander and Marcus Ruus, both former national team coaches, will be part of the national team's coaching team this season.
"The goal is to work even more together with clear areas of responsibility and that we as a coaching team become less vulnerable in cases of absence, and even better in all areas regarding coaching", says coaching manager Anders Svanebo in a press release from the Swedish Ski Association.
In April this year, Perry Olsson, considered by many as a "super coach", received the news that he would not have his contract renewed with the association, which sparked reactions, reported Expressen. Olsson has been personal coach to, among others, stars Jonna Sundling, William Poromaa and Charlotte Kalla.
