At least three Israeli attacks were directed at Beirut's southern suburbs on Tuesday evening, report Lebanese media. The attacks came after calls for residents to evacuate.
Footage taken by the AFP news agency shows smoke rising from the area, which has been regularly shelled since Israel intensified its offensive last month.
Israel also carried out attacks on Lebanon earlier on Tuesday. Among other things, a multi-story building collapsed completely after being hit by an Israeli robot, just minutes after the Shia militia Hezbollah held a press conference in the same area.
