A person has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after an attempted murder in the villa area of Lännersta in Nacka, just outside Stockholm.
It's a case of serious injuries, but I'm not going into how serious the injuries are, nor how they were inflicted on this person, says the police's press spokesperson Daniel Wikdahl.
The police do not want to say if anyone has been arrested.
The alarm was raised at 20:40 on Thursday and the operation was still ongoing late in the evening. Both dogs and a helicopter have been used in the search.
According to information received by Aftonbladet, the person was stabbed outdoors.
