It became a wet festival for those who were in Gothenburg at Way Out West yesterday.

It rained over 30 mm during the rainy day. It's a lot of rain, especially when it comes in a big city where the water has a harder time draining, says Therese Gadd, meteorologist at SMHI.

For the rest of the weekend, strong winds are expected, primarily in Götaland and Eastern Svealand.

SMHI has issued a yellow warning for strong winds of 14-17 meters per second, on the water and along several coastlines around the country.

It can cause problems for recreational boats and commercial vessels. It's a good idea to stay updated on the forecast and see how it develops, says Therese Gadd.

In central and northern Norrland, you can expect rain on and off during the weekend, where it can get a bit heavier in some areas.

But a high-pressure system is on its way into the country.

In the beginning of next week, we'll get a stabilization in the weather with a high-pressure ridge that will start growing in from the west. The wind will die down and the sun will get more space, says Gadd.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, temperatures between 20-25 degrees are expected in many parts of the country.
