After Monday evening's Allsvenskan match, HBK supporters gathered outside the player entrance at Örjans Vall. Team captain Andreas Johansson then came out to talk to them. When Hallandsposten's reporter got wind of this, he went there to photograph the event, with his press accreditation around his neck, writes Hallandsposten.

According to the newspaper, two security guards chased the reporter away, threatened to call the police, and forced him to delete the image material from his phone.

I have been covering football and HBK for over 35 years for Hallandsposten and have never experienced this before. It was an uncomfortable situation, says the reporter to Hallandsposten.

The police investigation is led by the group for democracy-threatening crimes in the west, writes the newspaper.

HBK's event manager Peter Åberg tells Hallandsposten that the situation arose after the supporters themselves asked that no one take any pictures or videos in connection with the event outside the player entrance.

His view is that the security company explained this to the reporter and therefore asked him not to do so.

Västerås won the bottom match 1–0.
