311 kilos of cannabis were hidden in the fuel tank of a lorry that came via the Öresund Bridge. The cargo – worth nearly 39 million kronor – was discovered by the customs authorities, who chose to follow and see how the smugglers continued to Stockholm.
There, the driver was surprised one morning in March at a forest party when he had just finished hiding the drugs under moss and spruce twigs.
Now, three men aged 41, 48, and 58 are being prosecuted for extremely serious drug smuggling and extremely serious drug offences, according to the Customs Authority in a press release.
